Snjegovi padaju hladni

Ko violina ciganska,

vjetrovi tumaraju kroz snove moje.

Ostavi ocaja misli u smiraj,

mora biti kraj za nas dvoje.

I kada ceznjom u dane prosle,

nemirno srce tvoje poleti,

mozda ce,na tren, mog tamnog oka,

i beskrajne ljubavi da se sjeti.

Dok sam te voljela,

voljela sam divlje i ludo.

Na dlanu sjecanja,

urezano ime tvoje drijema.

Sad sve je proslo,

snjegovi padaju hladni.

Na dusi mojoj,

tragova bola vise nema!!!!!!!!!!ImageΒ

  1. The sudden change in the tone pattern referencing the very last line of Biljana’s poem is really dramatic, and has so much to say too when Biljana suddenly shouts, “traces of pain no more!!!!”

  2. The Snows Falling Cold
    by Biljana Zovkic

    Who Gypsy Violin,
    winds wandering through my dreams.
Leave thoughts of dispair in the evening,
must be the end for us.
And when longing to the days passed,
    Restless heart thy flight,
perhaps, for a moment, my dark eye,
and endless love to be remembered.
    While I have loved you,
i loved the wild and crazy.
    In the palm of memories,
    carved your name slumbers.
    Now everything is gone,
    snow falls cold.
    On my soul,
    traces of pain no more!!!!!!!!!!

  5. I gave it a try… because I love some poetry, and wanted to know how you write… gave it a try and had it translated by some robot. It gave me a taste. But I know I didn’t hear the true poem. What I did see, I liked…
